Do I have to pay to participate?
No! Simply turn up to any one of our events and play for as long as you like.
Checkmate! provides chess sets, but do feel free to bring along your own if you fancy showing it off!
How often do Checkmate! Birmingham events take place?
Events take place on a weekly basis every Tuesday at Sommar Lounge in Birmingham. Keep an eye our social media channels for any and all upcoming events.
How do I join a Checkmate! Birmingham Event for the first time?
Simply turn up on the day of one of our events! We know it can be daunting for some to approach a big group of strangers, feel free to reach out on social media or via our chat function on the website and we can ensure you're accommodated for by the community!
